Prior to December of 2015, the Airport Management wastes no time and paints over the artwork and locks the doors.  The building remains vacant until they can devise a demolition plan.  They had approved the signage in June 2015, but I think the airport management had some political agenda.

San Diego Sky Tours artists, pilots and volunteers have kept a great and honorable attitude during this sad moment.  Looking at the hangar as a 'Sand Castle', a piece of art that existed for a time, then washes away with the ocean current, helps keep up our spirits.

The new home of San Diego Sky Tours after a year of restoration.  Two of our aircraft sit out on the ramp, under covered parking.  Sad.
